Draw your warehouse layout directly in Lagersystem. Place location series visually on a floor plan — exactly as your warehouse looks in reality.

  • Drag-and-drop editor: Drag location series to their physical position
  • Multiple plans: Create separate visualisation plans for floors, zones or areas
  • Active/inactive plans: Switch between layouts without deleting
  • Location groups: Group locations logically (e.g. chilled goods, dangerous goods)

Route optimisation

Automatic route optimisation for pickers

Based on your visual layout, the system calculates the optimal pick route. The pick list is automatically sorted so staff take the shortest path through the warehouse.
  • Pre-calculated routes: Route sorting is calculated in advance for a fast response
  • Route sort number per location: Each location gets a route number based on its physical position
  • Enable/disable per plan: Turn route sorting on/off per visualisation plan
  • Integration with handheld terminal: The pick list on the handheld terminal is sorted by the optimal route
  • Multipick optimisation: Multipick sessions are also sorted by route

Result: Fewer steps per picking round = faster picking = more orders per hour.
