WMS for DanDomain Classic and HostedShop — full integration with your webshop

Do you run your webshop on DanDomain Classic or the new DanDomain HostedShop? Our warehouse management system connects directly to your webshop admin and gives your warehouse the professional handling it needs — whether you're growing your shop, moving from Classic to HostedShop, or getting your stock under control after a successful campaign period. We speak DanDomain. We understand your product catalogue, your variants, your order statuses, your languages/sites and your invoicing flow. You keep DanDomain as your trading tool — we take care of all the physical work in the warehouse.

We support both DanDomain Classic and HostedShop

Over the years, DanDomain has evolved from the classic Classic platform to the modern HostedShop. Our integration works with both:

  • DanDomain Classic — the well-known platform many Danish webshops know and love. Stable, flexible, and still in full operation for plenty of Danish merchants. Our warehouse management system has integrated with Classic for many years, and we know all its quirks.
  • DanDomain HostedShop — the new generation of the DanDomain webshop. Modern admin, faster checkout, updated design — and full warehouse integration out of the box.

Are you in the middle of migrating from Classic to HostedShop? We keep up. You keep your warehouse management system while you move your webshop — and the transition itself becomes markedly easier, because warehouse, picking and reporting are separate from the webshop platform.

Why DanDomain shops choose Lagersystem

  • Stock updated live — stock levels sync to DanDomain as soon as something is packed, received or adjusted in the warehouse. No overselling, no “the webshop says we have 3, but there are 0 on the shelf right now”.
  • Orders fetched automatically — as soon as an order reaches the status you’ve chosen (typically Paid or New order), it’s pulled into the warehouse and ready for picking.
  • Status updated back to the webshop — once the order is packed and dispatched, it’s set to the order status you want (e.g. Shipped, Ready for collection or Completed).
  • Track & trace written back — the tracking number is written onto the order in DanDomain, so the customer automatically gets their notification email with the tracking link.
  • Invoices can be created automatically — on HostedShop, we can have the webshop create the invoice and send it to the customer once the order is packed. Including chosen payment due dates on B2B orders.

How the integration works day to day

Products, variants and product catalogue

Your product catalogue is edited as usual in the DanDomain admin. We automatically pull the products into the warehouse management system and keep the data in sync.

We understand DanDomain’s product structure:

  • SKU is used as the key between DanDomain and the warehouse
  • Barcode comes along, so scanning in the warehouse hits the right product
  • Variants are handled correctly — each variant has its own stock, its own location tracking and its own picking information
  • Minimum stock is used to trigger purchase suggestions automatically
  • Hidden products and inactive items are naturally skipped
  • Multi-language/multisite — if you have several languages or several sites on the same DanDomain solution, we fetch product data in the right language

Orders and order statuses

When an order in your DanDomain webshop reaches the status you’ve chosen as the trigger (typically New order or Paid), the warehouse management system pulls the order in. We fetch:

  • Billing address and delivery address separately
  • Customer data from the customer records
  • Order lines with SKU, variant, quantity, price and VAT
  • Variant name (e.g. size and colour) applied naturally to the picking information
  • Any parcel shop address
  • Shipping method and payment method with their correct names from DanDomain
  • Any order comments and delivery comments
  • Currency and total price
  • Any CVR/EAN number on B2B orders

Once the order is packed and dispatched

When the warehouse worker scans the order as complete on the handheld terminal, the following happens automatically in DanDomain:

  1. The order status is set to the one you’ve chosen (e.g. Shipped, Packed or Completed)
  2. The track & trace code is added to the order, so the customer gets their tracking email
  3. The invoice is created (on HostedShop) with any payment due dates
  4. The invoice email is sent automatically to the customer, if enabled

This means your customers get DanDomain’s own emails and notifications at the right time — without anyone having to click anything manually in the webshop admin.

Stock levels back and forth

The warehouse management system is the single source of truth for physical stock. When changes happen in the warehouse — picking, goods receipt, stocktaking, adjustment — the new stock level is pushed to DanDomain. This happens as batch updates, so even with large volumes your webshop is updated quickly.

Goods receipt

When your warehouse receives goods from a supplier and scans them in, stock is updated in DanDomain immediately — including partial deliveries. You don’t need to wait until the entire delivery is in before customers can order again.

General highlights

Mobile warehouse management with handheld terminals

Picking, goods receipt, location management and stocktaking take place on rugged Android handheld terminals with 1D/2D scanners (Honeywell or Zebra scan engine). Warehouse staff work with a scanner in hand — not a mouse in the webshop admin.

Location management

Every item gets its place — aisle, rack, shelf, bin. Multiple locations per variant, pick-optimised routes, and visual stock placement that makes onboarding fast.

Purchasing and suppliers

The warehouse management system can automatically suggest purchase orders based on minimum stock and sales forecasts. Receive goods by scanning and book them straight onto location.

Batches, serial numbers and shelf life

Do you sell products that require traceability? We handle batch numbers, serial numbers and expiry dates (FIFO / FEFO) — so you can always answer which batch went to which customer, and when.

Stocktaking

Cycle counting, zone counting and full annual stocktakes — all done on the handheld terminal. Discrepancies go to approval before being posted, and stock is synced back to DanDomain once approved.

Returns handling

When a customer returns an item, your warehouse can receive it, scan it, quality-check it and put it back into stock — or mark it as defective. Stock is updated automatically in DanDomain.

Reporting

Picking times, error rates, stock value, inventory turnover and dead stock — you get the numbers to run your warehouse professionally, and you can break down reports by site and by sales channel.

Parcel shops and shipping

We support DanDomain’s parcel shop flow. When the customer chooses a parcel shop at checkout, the address comes through on the order, and the label is booked automatically with PostNord, GLS, DAO, DHL, UPS, Bring and others.

Who is this for?

  • Growing DanDomain Classic shops that are hiring warehouse staff and have grown tired of Excel and post-it notes
  • HostedShop stores that want professional warehouse management from day one on the new platform
  • Shops facing migration from Classic to HostedShop who want a warehouse system that follows along without hassle
  • B2B shops with complex customers, large orders and requirements for invoices with payment due dates
  • Shops with many variants that need precise minimum stock levels per variant
  • Multisite setups running several DanDomain sites on the same solution that want one shared warehouse
  • Hybrid retail with both a physical shop and a DanDomain webshop, needing a unified stock overview

From manual clicking to an automatic flow

Do you currently click around the DanDomain admin to set orders to Shipped, enter tracking numbers and create invoices? With our integration you get:

  1. Orders appear automatically on the handheld terminal as soon as they’re ready
  2. Pick and pack with scanning — errors are caught before the box is sealed
  3. Shipping labels print automatically based on DanDomain’s chosen shipping method
  4. Track & trace is written onto the order, the customer gets their email
  5. Order status is updated to Shipped, Ready for collection or whatever you’ve chosen
  6. Invoice is created and sent (HostedShop), if you want it to be
  7. Stock updated before the next customer can oversell the item
